Frenchic Paint UK
UK based company with a good choice of chalk furniture paint colours, including the Al Fresco range, which is suitable for outdoor use. Frenchic also carry their own brand brushes, waxes and finishing coat. Order online or search for a local stockist via their website. Very good quality at mid range prices.

Johnstone’s Paint
Great range of colours in various finishes, including chalky furniture paint and metallics. Decent quality at affordable prices.

Dulux
Well known brand available at most DIY stores. Some of the larger stores offer a paint mixing service where they will mix a base paint in a range of finishes to match colour cards on display. If you prefer to make your own chalky type paint rather than buying a brand name, Dulux matt emulsion can be mixed to hundreds of colours and makes a good quality base. Their eggshell and silk finishes are also a good option for furniture painting.

Craig and Rose

A beautifully creamy, high quality paint in a gorgeous range of colours. They have several ranges of paint types to choose from, such as their Artisan Effects paint, including chalky finish, metallics, patina, etc. If I’m looking for a chalk paint then this is my paint of choice....so lovely to work with. You can find stockists on their website...I usually get mine from B&Q.
